So far the alleged authorship of 23 crimes of theft with force in vehicles and businesses is attributed to him
He came to commit robberies on several occasions in the same vehicles
The arrested, despite his youth, has a broad criminal record
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'LIAMSI', framed in the 'Plan for the improvement of security in the commerce sector', which has been settled with the arrest of the alleged author of more than twenty Robberies with force committed against vehicles and establishments of El Algar-Cartagena.
La Benemérita began the operation at the end of last year, when it detected the commission of several robberies with force inside vehicles that were parked in the Cartagena hamlet of El Algar.
At the same time, there was also an increase in robberies with force in commercial establishments of all kinds, such as hairdressers, supermarkets or florists, so that, in order to clarify both types of crime and arrest those responsible to prevent these criminal acts continue to occur , the civil guards carried out exhaustive technical-ocular inspections to gather all possible indications about their authorship and modus operandi.
The investigation shows that the main objective of the assailant was, mainly, the collection money, without rejecting easily commercialized objects, such as laptops, mobile phones, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and household goods.
The researchers found out that there was a common pattern in the modus operandi used both to access vehicles and in the forcing of businesses.
They also detected a geographical proximity between the places where the robberies were committed, in fact some of the vehicles came to be assaulted on two occasions.
The indications obtained during the investigation oriented the agents towards a known delinquent of the area, neighbor of the locality and who during the month of February was arrested in flagrante delicto, when he was caught inside a fruit store by the owner of the same .
Once all the necessary evidence has been obtained and the suspect has been identified, the Civil Guard has established a search device that has culminated in its location, arrest and subsequent judicial recourse as a presumed perpetrator of the crime of burglary.
The analysis made with the evidence obtained during the investigation has made it possible to clarify, up to now, a dozen robberies inside vehicles and another eleven robberies in commercial establishments, not ruling out that the now arrested may be responsible for more criminal acts.
The Spanish arrested, of 23 years, neighbor of Cartagena and with a wide criminal history, along with the educated diligences, has been put at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of Cartagena (Murcia).
