This Saturday, May 26, the 6th Cross of Alumbres 2018 will take place in the Cartagena deputation along with the 2nd Senderista Route, which has been organized by the Alumbres Sport Sports Club, in collaboration with the Sports Council of the City of Cartagena and the Federación de Mountaineering of the Region of Murcia.
The presentation took place today, May 24, by the Councilor for Sports, Obdulia Gómez;
who has been accompanied by the General Director of Sports of the Region of Murcia, Alonso Gómez;
and the secretary of the Club Alumbres Sport, Francisco Madrid.
SPORT ACTIVITIES
Sports activities will start at 5:30 pm with the non-competitive walk of about 10 kilometers.
Once this route is started, the first race of children from 3 to 7 years old will take place in the Chupeta category, which will be approximately 260 meters long.
Around 18 hours will begin races for minors: the first one designed for school children between 8 and 11 years old with a distance of one kilometer;
and the second designed for young people between 12 and 15 years who will run a distance of 1,450 meters.
The absolute race will have its start at 7:00 pm and will have a 6-kilometer course in which the runners will have the opportunity to enjoy the paths and natural paths of the surroundings of Alumbres until their arrival at the finish line, on the San Roque Promenade. , next to the Polideportivo of the town.
REGISTRATIONS
As usual, for the participants there will be, as every year, cloakroom, showers, toilets, canteen, refreshments and raffle gifts.
The inscriptions will cost 8 euros for federated Murcia Mountaineering Federation, 9 euros for non-federated and 3 euros in the case of the smaller categories and Chupeta and may be formalized online through the page web 'lineadesalida.net', where you can also download the participation rules and you can see the route.
The councilor of Sports, Obdulia Gómez has highlighted the coordinated effort of the City together with the work of the organizing club and the collaboration of the Local Police of Cartagena to ensure safety, as well as the support of the councils of Infrastructures, Sports, the Alumbres Neighborhood Board , the General Directorate of Sports, Repsol and the rest of the collaborating entities
SOLIDARITY SPORTS EVENT
In this 6th Cross of Alumbres, Zancadas Solidarias will once again collaborate with the participation of three joelette chairs, which will make possible the participation in the test for people with reduced mobility.
The parents who attend the race will be able to enjoy the sport while their children spend the afternoon in the closed circuit of the Sports Center, where there will be inflatables.
