After hearing the recent announcement of the approval of the Board of Governors for the Cartagena Sports Awards in its 2017 edition, the councilor of MC and responsible, along with José López, to recover these awards, Ricardo Segado, has stated his satisfaction when verifying that the control exercised by the cartagenerista formation on the socialist Executive on this subject has given, finally, its fruits.
"It is never too late if the happiness is good and correct is wise, are two appropriate sayings for this occasion," said the mayor, who also recalled that after publicly denounced on several occasions the intentions of the local government to charge these Awards that MC returned to establish, "we managed to recover and today, finally, although months behind schedule, the bases have been approved".

In the same way, Segado has shown his enthusiasm since "we achieved that these awards to our athletes, clubs, coaches and sponsors do not get lost, thus honoring their work".
