NAVANTIA and Proyecto Hombre Murcia signed a collaboration agreement this morning, the objective of which is to hold training and information sessions on the prevention of addictions in the workplace.
On the part of the naval company, the agreement has been signed by the Director of NAVANTIA-Cartagena, Agustín Álvarez Blanco, while by Proyecto Hombre Murcia, the signatory has been its Director, Asunción Santos de Pascual.
The agreement provides for the implementation of a program called Training and Prevention in the field of Addictions, especially adapted to the needs of NAVANTIA.
This plan includes the performance of expert personnel from Proyecto Hombre in three areas: on the one hand, on health professionals, Prevention and Human Resources, a training action on preventive action in work units;
secondly, a Training Course aimed at NAVANTIA Managers and Managers, for the detection of possible cases of addictions among the workforce;
and third, a dissemination campaign on prevention of addictions in the workplace, aimed at the NAVANTIA workers themselves.
During a brief address, the Director of the Shipyard highlighted the commitment of NAVANTIA with the prevention, safety and welfare of workers, in which he has signed the signing of this agreement.
For his part, Asunción Santos de Pascual pointed out that the objective of the agreement is to promote actions so that "the workplace is healthier and free of substance consumption," adding that approximately 5% of the workforce has a " risk consumption "of alcohol.
The collaboration agreement has a duration of one year, from the date of its signature, period during which the planned actions must be carried out.
