The deputy secretary general of the PSRM-PSOE and spokesman for the Executive, Francisco Lucas, has assured, on the indictment of the case 'Novo Carthago', that: "It is further evidence of the damage that the Popular Party does to the Region of Murcia".
Lucas believes that the prosecution of three former counselors of Valcárcel demonstrates, once again, that the Popular Party "has used, uses and will use the institutions for the benefit of its leaders, who have believed that the Region is their farm."
The spokesman of the Socialist Executive recalled that both the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and Councilman Juan Pedro Torralba appeared in this case when they were in opposition.
Once in the Government of Cartagena, in the Junta de Gobierno, they have paralyzed the attempt of the Hansa Urbana company to reactivate the project, and they have sent it to the court.
"We wonder what the spokesperson of the regional government, Noelia Arroyo, and her boss, Fernando López Miras, think about this new case that does us so much damage, surely they are waiting for the one who is also being prosecuted and who still sends them, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, tell them what they have to say. "
"For the good of our land and citizenship, there is a need for a change in the regional government, which is committed to regeneration, transparency and people, something that only Diego Conesa can achieve", he concluded.
