Pozo Estrecho started its traditional Spring Festival of the 'Campo, Música y Flores', on Friday, May 18, with the inauguration of the Fairground in charge of the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
The event was attended by the Minister of Transparency, Participation and Spokesperson of the regional government, Noelia Arroyo, the first deputy mayor of the city of Cartagena, Juan Pedro Torralba, the councilman of Culture, David Martinez and the spokesman of the Municipal Group, Manuel Padín.
Precisely, it was the councilman of Culture who was in charge of offering the proclamation with the officially started parties of the Galileans.
The festivities are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and for this they have organized a special program that will run until June 3.
The Galileans will again fill their streets with cultural activities that will be mixed with recreational acts.
Taking advantage of this anniversary, the parties held last Friday a tribute to all the Queens of the past 30 years.
Queens and ladies attended this first evening of the popular festivities to receive recognition from their neighbors.
During the festivities, in which the music will play an indispensable role, activities such as the traditional Pilgrimage to the Hill, the race of horse ribbons, as well as the XXIV Contest organized by the Association of Housewives, among others, will be developed. .
