Firemen of the Service of Fire and Rescue Extinction (SEIS) of the City of Cartagena moved yesterday afternoon to the neighboring municipality of La Union to put down the fire registered in an abandoned house.
At around 7:35 p.m., through the regional emergency telephone number 112, a warning was received from neighbors warning of the exit of flames from inside a house located on Prolongación San Francisco Street.
Four firefighters and a corporal, on board a heavy urban vehicle bomb (BUP), moved to the place.
Upon arrival, a sofa and other remains were found burning inside the building, while the flames had spread from the roof made of wooden beams.
Shortly after their arrival, the firefighters controlled the fire, returning to the Security Park around 8:45 p.m.
