This morning, MC Cartagena, represented by its secretary general, José López;
president, Jesús Giménez;
as well as the ediles of the municipal Group in the Consistory;
Isabel Garcia, Ricardo Segado, María José Soler and Francisco Calderón, have come to Murcia to join the neighborhood demonstration 'for a clean beach' in the Mar Menor, a concentration that has toured the streets of that city.
The coordinator of Neighborhoods and Provincial Councils of the Cartagena training, Enrique Pérez, has also participated.
Hundreds of residents, mainly from municipalities in the region of Cartagena, have demanded the removal of sludge, sludge and dried up on the beaches of the Mar Menor and stop the spills in the salt lake.
Neighbors and political representatives have joined forces to protest against the lies and promises unfulfilled by the regional government on the cleaning and regeneration of the Mar Menor.
The demonstration has passed close to different headquarters of the regional and central administration (Palacio de San Esteban, Demarcation of Costas and Delegation of the Government), authentic people in charge of the agony that suffers the salty lagoon.
MC has backed seamlessly, as he has always expressed, a claim that has placed the accent on the inaction and ineffectiveness of the administrations that have not complied with their commitments.
In contrast to this passivity, cartagenerista training has proposed solutions such as the creation of a green belt with native vegetation, in addition to supporting a designation of origin to achieve a sustainable agriculture and reasoned in the vicinity of the Mar Menor, making the production in the Campo de Cartagena change from quantity to quality.
The neighborhood mobilizations will continue on May 24, before the Regional Assembly.
Also, on July 21 and August 18 there will be protests in Los Urrutias.
