The Workshops of Promotion for Immigrant Women of the Intercultural Centers, that belong to the Unit of Immigration and Cooperation to the Development of the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena, celebrated on Tuesday, May 15, the closing ceremony of the course 2017 / 2018
The students of the different workshops met in the Assembly Hall of the Graduate School Building, where they were given certificates that accredited their participation in the programs.
The Promotion Workshops are spaces where you work with women of foreign origin from the perspective of their promotion and personal development, in order to improve their level of autonomy and encourage participation in the life of the city.
Through the work of topics such as socio-health education, social skills, communication or knowledge of the environment, workshops were held at the Intercultural Centers of Los Dolores and Casco Antíguo.
Each of these two centers was attended by 30 women of different nationalities, two days a week in the morning, to complete their training.
The closing ceremony was attended by Lucía Hernández, Coordinator of the Prevention Unit of the Department of Social Services.
