Students, teachers, staff and other faithful have received in the Campus of Los Dolores with the prayer of Lauds to the pilgrim image that will be until tomorrow morning, after an offering of flowers to the Virgin, a procession, the celebration of the Eucharist and the recitation of the Rosary.

The image of Our Lady of Lourdes was received this morning by the university community of the San Antonio Catholic University on its arrival at the Cartagena campus, where it will remain until tomorrow morning.

This is the image that is pilgrimage on the occasion of the Hospital Jubilee Year celebrated in the Diocese.

On the occasion of this visit, some university Marian days have been started today, which will conclude with the farewell of the Virgin.

Specifically, in the early morning in an altar installed for the occasion in the Plaza de San Antonio of the UCAM Cartagena Campus, the university chaplain has directed the prayer of Laudes.

Then, in the auditorium of the campus, the presenter of the program "Amaos" of Radio Maria, Cynthia García, gave the lecture "The Virgin Mary in the Life of the Church" and the round table was held "Testimonials from the pilgrimage to Lourdes "with a member of the Hospitality of Lourdes, a pilgrim patient to Lourdes and a young volunteer of Hospitality.

The program continued in the afternoon with the screening of the film "My name is Bernardette" and with the conference "Lourdes: the presence of Mary and pilgrimage center" by the hand of Francisco de Asís Pagán Jiménez, chaplain of the Cofradía California de Cartagena

And this first day of activities will conclude with the Prayer of the Holy Rosary with the Virgin at 20:00;

a Eucharist in the grotto of the Virgin at 8:30 p.m., the Eucharistic Procession and Vigil of the Nocturnal Adoration in a Chapel at 9:15 p.m. and the Blessing and Reservation of the Blessed Sacrament at 10:30 p.m.

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 17 at 9:30 am, there will be a floral offering to the Virgin, a procession and celebration of the Eucharist, and at 11:00 a.m. will have the recitation of the Rosary before the farewell of the Virgin.
