The City of Cartagena, through the area of ​​Sustainable Development and Public Function, has adhered to the Network of Local Entities for Transparency and Citizen Participation with a project that brings to the classrooms of secondary education institutions a transparency guide with the objective of bringing this area closer to the young people of the municipality.
This project aims, through reading and carrying out activities in the classroom, to develop critical thinking and, in turn, discover as a team, what it demands and what benefits Transparency entails.
For this it uses two guides;
one aimed at teachers and another designed for students.
The teaching guide tries to bring schools closer to what Transparency is, how to explain it through the values ​​with which it is connected and propose some activities to develop in the classroom.
The guide for students includes, in language close to the young people, what to associate with Transparency, its historical evolution and how to take advantage of its benefits through the Transparency Portals.
For the diffusion of this program in the centers of Secondary Education of the municipality it was counted on the help of the Network of Youthful Correspondents, formed by 33 students of Secondary Education, Vocational Training and University, that helped by the Informajoven, they were in charge of explaining between your colleagues the services, news and calls that may be of interest to them.
