Sixty students from San Fulgencio de Pozo Estrecho public school visited the Consistorial Palace on Tuesday, May 15.
The three classes of third grade have been received by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
The mayor has received the children in the lobby of the Palace.
After greeting them, Castejón explained where they were, also told them that she was also from Pozo Estrecho and studied in the same school as them.
After taking a photo on the main staircase, the children continued their visit through the Plenary Hall, where the function of this room has been explained to them.
A very participative visit where the children have answered questions about the Palace and have shown their knowledge about municipal political life.
The sixty students have also been able to know the most private dependencies of the mayor, his office and the room where he usually receives protocol visits.
In addition, the students of San Fulgencio public school have taken a small gift as a souvenir of their visit to the Palace of Cartagena.
