Pozo Estrecho will once again fill its streets to celebrate its traditional Spring Festival of "Campo, Música y Flores", which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary with a special program that will take place between May 13 and June 3.

The act of presentation, which took place today, Monday, May 14, was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, accompanied by the mayor of Culture, Education and Youth, David Martínez Noguera;

and the president of the Pozo Estrecho Festive Cultural and Leisure Association, Juan Sánchez.

The mayor highlighted the commitment to preserve and maintain the traditions and cultural events of the neighborhoods and towns of the region, and recalled how 30 years ago, in 1988, a group of Galileans and Galileans realized that the town needed some parties, that in a first moment they were called of the Field, Wine and Flowers, and later they were denominated of the Field, Music and Flowers.

He also took the opportunity to highlight the work of the Commission of the parties, which as noted Castejón, work throughout the year so that the Spring Festival of Pozo Estrecho are possible.

For his part, Juan Sánchez has indicated that during these festivities there will be a tribute to all the Spring Queens that have taken place over the past 30 years;

At the same time he pointed out that the association has organized an exciting program of activities in which culture and festivity are mixed with playful acts.

The mayor David Martinez Noguera, who this year will be the crier of these holidays, has emphasized the pride of holding this position in 2018, while thanking Javier Lorente the authorship of the cover of the book of the Spring Festival 2018

During the festivities, in which the music will play an indispensable role, activities such as the traditional Pilgrimage to the Hill, the race of horse ribbons, as well as the XXIV Contest organized by the Association of Housewives, among others, will be developed. .
