The Cultural Association of the Modernists of Cartagena de Levante presented on Saturday, May 12, at the Consistorial Palace, the poster of the III Modernist Exhibition, which will run from November 2 to November 12 in the municipality of Cartagena.
The act was attended by the mayor of the Culture, Education and Youth area, David Martínez Noguera;
who was accompanied by the board of directors and several members of the Modernist Cultural Association of Cartagena de Levante.
During the ceremony, the official chroniclers of Cartagena, Luis Miguel Pérez Adán, Francisco José Franco, Juan Ignacio Ferrández, who was unable to attend, and José Sánchez Conesa;
at the same time Francisco José Franco was appointed modernist ambassador of the Cultural Association.
From November 2 to November 12 will return to Cartagena the atmosphere and customs that were lived in the municipality in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, for which various cultural activities will be announced soon.
Some of the activities that were carried out in the last edition were a course of exhibition of horse and carriage hooks of the time, as well as conferences of the chroniclers, samples of painting and ceramics, historical buildings that are not usually visited open to the public , as well as a market of artisan crafts and activities and excursions with schools, among others.
