MC Cartagena will present, during the extraordinary debate session of the municipal budgets of 2018 to celebrate on Wednesday, May 16, a series of proposals in the form of amendments to advance in the construction of a municipality project in the medium and long term, avoiding the prevailing short-termism in traditional political parties, very well represented, as is known, in the City of Cartagena.

It is a total of twelve measures aimed at optimizing access to the municipality, the enhancement and enhancement of heritage, as well as improving the quality of life of residents, municipal agencies and neighborhoods and councils.

These initiatives represent an investment of 3,360,000 euros, between the budgets of 2018 and 2019, since some of these projects require items in both years.

Access

The spokesman of the MC Cartagena municipal group, José López, has indicated that "these measures abound in the line of action understood by our training is the only one that will allow us to build the project of the municipality that needs Cartagena, doing a serious, rigorous and responsible work , looking for a horizon of progress for our city whose results we will obtain in the medium and long term ".

In the same way, other amendments request the resurfacing of the Alameda de San Antón, a very necessary action due to the deteriorated state that it presents in some sections;

as well as the conditioning of the access bridge to Torreciega, in view of its conditioning for pedestrian use, improving with this action the accessibility and mobility of this area and, of course, safety.

Likewise, it is committed to improving the pavement of the Greenway of Barrio Peral.

Other projects that MC will defend are clearly aimed at improving the quality of life of neighbors.
