The Hall of Councilors of the Consistorial Palace has hosted the signing of an agreement to formalize the collaboration between Cartagena Futsal Plastics Romero and the Department of Social Services and Social Mediation to encourage the participation of 35 children in sports schools of the club through scholarships the La Caixa Foundation.
The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, attended the signing of the agreement;
and the president of Cartagena Futsal Plastics Romero, Roberto Sánchez.
The councilor has indicated that the signing resumed this agreement, which will serve to continue collaborating through the schools Javi Matía, and has said that in his visit yesterday, May 10, one of these sports training centers could see the illusion of the Benjamins, who were playing with the first team of the club.
He also stressed that in addition to these scholarships of La Caixa, which include classes and equipment, will be provided a ticket bonus to bring football to children living in slums.
For his part, Roberto Sánchez has highlighted the social work done in Cartagena with these grants aimed at children at risk of exclusion, who according to the president of the club, are fully integrated with the rest of their peers since the beginning of the season.
