About 400 students of the CEIP San Isidoro and Santa Florentina received the visit of some FC Cartagena players, on Thursday, May 10, thanks to the ADE program.
The visit is part of the ADE Program, organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
The program aims to make children aware of the day to day of sports, and that this experience will serve to stimulate motivation towards sports, something essential in the comprehensive education of children.
FC Cartagena players visited the boys in the most momentous week for the black and white club.
The players Oscar Ramírez, Pau Torres and Alex Cranix, accompanied by Sumi, the mascot of the team, received the support and affection of the hundreds of schoolchildren from the San Isidro and Santa Florentina schools.
The meeting was held in the municipal pavilion Jiménez de La Espada.
The students received the players singing the black and white anthem.
After greeting the children, the players answered the questions and curiosities of the children.
The visit continued with some penalty kicks to goalkeepers Pau Torres and Cranix.
There was also time to sign autographs and to take photographs.
Before leaving the school, Oscar Ramírez, Pau Torres and Alex Cranix, handed over to the school two balls signed by the staff, as well as tickets so that all schoolchildren can attend the next match they will face in the Municipal Stadium Cartagonova FC Cartagena against the Ecija.
A decisive game for the team of Cartagena since the victory can proclaim champions in their category.
