In view of the Government's proposals submitted to the Finance Committee regarding the investments of the 2017 surplus, amounting to 2.5 million euros, and the 2018 budget, CTSSP states the following:

Once we have seen and studied the 2017 surplus application file, we understand that the government is finally bringing a detailed and informed proposal by the technicians, as our municipal group proposed in the previous Finance Committee and the April plenary session. .

On the other hand, we verify that the proposal is a copy and paste that the PP has released to the media.

Once again it is clear that in the City of Cartagena governs the PSOE and sends the PP.

In this proposal it is noted that not a single euro has been budgeted for neighborhoods as needy as the Campano, the Mateos and Santa Lucia, and has provided "crumbs" to other neighborhoods as depressed as Villalba, San Antón, and Barriada Virgen de the charity.

From CTSSP we value that positive discrimination must be done towards the most deteriorated districts of the municipality, budgeting Integral Plans that reflect all the urgent and basic necessities for the life of the neighbors, with the purpose that in our municipality there will not be citizens first, citizens of second or third.

For this reason we have proposed to the government the implementation of these Integral Plans, using the opportunity provided by the 2017 surplus, providing each of the neighborhoods cited with almost 400,000 euros each.

We also completed up to 2.5 million euros with the provision of shadows in the public schools of San Isidoro de El Algar and Puebla.

After the conversation with the government we expect you to reconsider our proposal, for which we are going to abstain in the Finance Committee prior to the plenary session.

Regarding the positioning of CTSSP with respect to the Government's proposal of the budgets of 2018, since the Municipal Government does not have a definitive answer on our red lines and the amendments presented, we will vote against it in the Finance Committee.
