The mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, will visit this afternoon, at 4:00 p.m., the training of one of the schools Javi Matía of the Cartagena Futsal.
Specifically, of which it is located in the Central Pavilion of Ussel Street in Guimbarda.
It is one of the ten sports schools that the Cartagena team develops in other municipal pavilions, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.
In the visit the mayor will know the work of promoting the sporting activity and social integration that takes place.
Precisely on Friday, May 11, the mayor will sign at 11 am, in the council room of the Consistorial Palace, an agreement with club representatives to formalize the collaboration that the Department of Social Services and Social Mediation has been providing since September 2017 to encourage the participation of 35 children in these sports schools, through scholarships from the La Caixa Foundation, which provide them with monthly payments and equipment.
Likewise, through the Antirumors program, the participation and assistance of groups and associations in League matches or with the visit of professional athletes to the entity will be encouraged.
