The act of presentation in Madrid was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón, who pointed out that from July 20 to 28, music, art, cinema and Danish literature will have a large window to be shown throughout Spain and Europe , at the same time that it has emphasized the cultural quality of Denmark and the quality of the artistic projects that will be shown in Cartagena.

This exhibition will be divided into five museum spaces in the city and will feature works by Sophie Dupont, Jacob Kirkegaard, Oskar Koliander, Rasmus Nilausen, Helene Nymann, Kaspar Oppen Samuelse & Marie-Louise Vittrup, Julie Stavad, Tove Storch, Superflex, Astrid Svangren and Mark Tholander.
Another great exhibition will be "Light and irony" that aims to provide a perspective of contemporary art in Denmark, one of the most open countries in the production of contemporary art and the proliferation of artists in a surprising number of languages.

In this edition and for the first time, the festival will offer a new line dedicated to Architecture.
Two events will be held jointly in collaboration with the School of Architecture and Building of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena for this section: an exhibition on Danish architecture entitled 'Architecture for people' and an architecture workshop where the public spaces of the city ​​and its relationship with outdoor musical events, to be developed in the weeks leading up to the festival.
The literary section of the festival will have a Danish literary contextualization course by Enrique Bernárdez, Professor of the Complutense University of Madrid, and meetings with Kirsten Thorup, Thomas Rydahl, Lone Theils or the one that Isaac Rosa will maintain with Morten Dürr to reflect on the graphic novel.
