The deadline for submitting applications for grants for projects focused on the diversification and improvement of the coastline is now open, and will remain so until June 8.
The Local Action Group of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Region of Murcia, GALPEMUR encourages entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and associations related to the coastal environment to apply for this aid, which this year have a budget of 900,000 euros.
GALPEMUR, is a non-profit private entity constituted by 33 partners, among which is the City of Cartagena, which represents the most representative public and private stakeholders of the fishing and aquaculture sector of the Region of Murcia.
In this annuity, GALPEMUR will publish three different calls for a total for non-productive projects of € 449,750 in annual call and a call for € 449,750 for multi-year productive projects, assuming almost € 900,000.
Until the year 2022 there will be periodic calls for aid focused on the diversification and sustainable development of the coast, which are aimed at potential beneficiaries such as fishermen, diving centers, aquaculture companies, etc.
It was in 2017 when GALPEMUR resolved its first call for aid, having today 6 real and tangible projects launched, creating employment and putting value on the fishing heritage.
Among the projects include the cultivation of microalgae in the Continental Zone, the musealization of the surroundings of the fish market and the Port of Cabo de Palos, the improvement of the 'Else' sailboat and the musealization of the fishing market of Mazarrón, among others.
Currently, and until June 8, the call for applications for assistance will remain open.
GALPEMUR puts at the disposal of the interested parties its services for the preparation of the necessary documentation to make the request of the aids.
