From Podemos-CTSSP we demand the unanimity of all social, political and judicial sectors to find a definitive location for the much-needed CITY OF JUSTICE.
Last Friday we met with the Board of Governors and the Dean of the College of Lawyers of CT to address this and other matters of urgent need in our region and judicial party, such as the claim to the Ministry of Justice and the General Council of the Judiciary the implementation in CT of the first Mortgage Court, this being a request very demanded by the Platform of Affected by the Mortgage (PAH), another Mercantile, another of Minors and the opening of the already granted Family Court No. 2.
It is not understood that for the granting of these Courts, the criterion of capitality continues to be applied instead of the population criterion and that therefore the Cartagena citizens must be traveling to Murcia every time they have to claim for the ground clauses, for commercial reasons or infractions. penalties for minors.
As for the Family Court No. 2 we demand an immediate relocation, and not wait for a new Palace of Justice to be built.
We also demand better facilities for the Court of Gender Violence, because their dependencies are scarce when the users are crowded with their children crossing in the corridors with those denounced, as they have warned on numerous occasions the feminist collectives of Cartagena.
Finally, we believe that the privatization of the Civil Registry scheduled for the year 2020 is a complete nonsense.
Since Podemos-CTSSP have demanded in the Congress of Deputies that the Civil Registry remains a public service, free, close to citizens and served entirely by staff of the Administration of Justice, with offices in each judicial district.
We will transfer all these proposals to the Plenary Session of the City Council and the Board of Justice in its next call.
