This Tuesday, May 8, Cayetano Gutiérrez Pérez's book, 'Climate change, the giant that threatens the earth', is presented within the 'Cartagena Piensa' program, in 'Leer, pensar, imaginar'.
The presentation will be at the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, at 8:00 p.m.
In the act, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, the author of the book Cayetano Gutiérrez Pérez will intervene, along with its illustrator, Mateo Ripoll.
Belén Rosa de Gea, from Grupo Promotor Cartagena Piensa, will be in charge of conducting the event.
The main purpose of 'Climate change, the giant that threatens the earth', is to raise awareness of the most important environmental problem on our planet, which threatens future generations, as a consequence of maintaining an unsustainable lifestyle and consumption habits. , showing that the development of certain consumer habits can be the key to winning the battle against climate change.
It is an informative story, very versatile (valid for adults), designed to present, in a clear and simple way, the enormous possibilities to stop it from those that we still have.
It can also be of great help to teachers, to explain climate change.

Cayetano Gutiérrez Pérez, has a degree in Chemical Sciences, from the University of Murcia, Professor of Physics and Chemistry, freelance scientific disseminator, writer, and lecturer.
Mateo Ripoll Planas.
He is a draftsman and ESO teacher, model maker, illustrator and graphic designer, also oriented to urbansketing.
