The City of Cartagena has welcomed on May 7 in the municipal facilities of the former Artillery Park students of training centers and universities that are conducting internships in various departments of the consistory from the month of February to summer.

The act was attended by the mayor of the Sustainable Development and Public Function area, Francisco Aznar;

who has been accompanied by the head of Human Resources, Emilia García;

and the Head of Training, Antonio Mula.

The training technician Ana Allegue also participated in the presentation;

and Antonio Esteban, from the Data Processing Center.

The mayor has indicated that there are a total of 82 students who will complete their training in several departments of the City of Cartagena, which come from several training centers, as well as several universities in the Region of Murcia and outside, such as the International University of Valencia and the International University of La Rioja.

Aznar has taken advantage of his intervention to highlight the opportunity represented by these training practices, which will help them to have a better future when they find a job, "something they are fighting for," the councilor added.

Also, Aznar explained that the City of Cartagena is considered a large population, because it provides a public service to 214,000 citizens thanks to the work of 1,500 officials.

For his part, Antonio Mula has explained to students the functioning of public services in the local administration, as well as the different professional profiles that will be found in the session during the exercise of their practices.

Finally, Ana Allegue has indicated the studies from which the interns come and has indicated some of the departments in which they will carry out the training, such as Decentralization, Archive, Human Resources, Infrastructures, Social Services, Sports, Archaeological Museum, Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, Treasury, Labor Risks, Equality, Education, Libraries or Youth, among others.
