The month of May brings, with one more year, the traditional Fiesta de la Cruz, which will take place in the municipality from May 4 to 6.
Neighbors, Associations and leisure venues have made a total of 35 crosses that will contribute to a festive atmosphere throughout the weekend in the central streets of the municipality and in those districts and councils that participate in this tradition.
Cartagena's entertainment venues have produced 17 crosses that will be displayed in the streets of the city center, Plaza de San Francisco and Plaza de San Ginés.
On the other hand, traditional associations such as the Marraja Brotherhood;
the California, the Cathedral and the Risen One;
the "Ciudad de Cartagena" Folkloric Group;
the Carnival Federation;
The Romeros de San Ginés de la Jara Brotherhood and the Cartagena Center Career Platform have designed 7 May crosses.
The neighborhoods and councils where you can visit these ornamental details of flowers during this weekend are: the San Cristóbal Barridade, the San Ginés Strait and the Azohía.
As of May 11, they can also be seen in Galifa, LA Aljorra, Vista Alegre, Santa Lucia and La Aparecida.
During the night of Thursday, May 3, the crossing was installed in the different locations of the city.
The time allowed for the celebration of this party is as follows: Friday 4 May will be from 12:00 to 01:00 hours;
Saturday from 12:00 to 1:30 and Sunday from 12:00 to 21:00.
Generally, within that time, traffic will be cut in the Old Town, given the crowd that usually registers.
