The fifteen young authors of the literary creation workshop Libreta Mandarache will be accompanied on Tuesday, May 8 by the winning writers of the Mandarache and Hache Awards 2018, Cristina Fernández Cubas and Álvaro García Hernández, in a live writing jam that will combine music live, screenings and improvised written texts.
The activity, which will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the temporary room of the National Museum of Underwater Archeology ARQVA, precedes the awards ceremony on May 9 at the El Batel Auditorium.
The improvised writing session will be directed by Marcos Xalabarder, founder of Escritura En Vivo Barcelona, ​​and will consist of a writing concert, a 'full menu' of tasty literary dishes that the writers will cook live, exhibiting a variety of narrative techniques.
This menu can be tasted through sight and hearing thanks to the images projected by Marc Homar and the music of the young interpreters Pablo Bernal and Javier García of the Conservatory of Cartagena, who will illustrate the projected texts of the fifteen authors of the workshop : Alba Díaz, Santa Díaz, Alejandro Egea, Iván García, Violeta García, Sonia García, Mireya Gómez, Nur González, Sara Madrid, Sergio Martínez, Youssef Rahmani, Andrea Rodríguez, Meli Soto, Virginia Templado, Xiomara Vázquez.
Notepad Mandarache is a literary creation workshop promoted by the City of Cartagena and the National Museum of Underwater Archeology.
ARQVA, through its Library, in the fifteen young boys and girls hold formative sessions with the poet and editor José Alcaraz, who guides them in the professional world of books and trains them as creators in literary art. without gender restriction.
In addition, these young people hold special meetings each year with the six finalist writers of the Mandarache and Hache Awards when they visit the city.
The activity is free and open to the general public.
