On Friday, April 27, the popular festivities of the Fuente de Cubas neighborhood began, which will run until next Tuesday, May 1.
The mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, was in charge of offering the proclamation of the Feast of Exaltation of the Cross that took place on Saturday night, April 28, in Fuente Cubas.
Five days of popular festivities to celebrate the May crosses, which have the collaboration of the City of Cartagena through their councils of Celebrations, for this reason, the councilman of this area, Juan Pedro Torralba, was also present at the beginning of the parties.
This Monday, April 30, the holidays continue.
At 6.30pm there will be an exhibition of flamenco and sevillanas dancing.
Later, around 9:30 pm, Pepe Márquez 'El Cuco' will perform, with family raffles.
The end of parties will take place on Tuesday, May 1 with a free giant paella for all attendees. Previously, trophies and vermouth dancing will be given.
