'Open Book' closes its ninth edition that has been dedicated to equality, with the valorisation of the merits of women in this field.
Cartagena dressed in literature to celebrate the Day of the Book that closed its activities on Friday, April 27, with the delivery of the prizes of the II Marcapáginas Contest, the inauguration of the new mural in the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, made by the artist Pedro Conesa and the show 'Pipi y los piratas'.
Book Day activities were organized by the network of Municipal Libraries, dependent on the Department of Culture.
The councilman of this area, David Martinez, was in charge of delivering the prizes of the II Bookmarking Contest, which is organized by the Municipal Libraries Network.
Previously, the mayor had inaugurated the new mural of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center library, made by the artist Pedro Conesa, in homage to Las Sinsombrero.
The artist has developed his work live between April 18 and 27, as another of the activities programmed by 'Open Book'.
The Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center also hosted the children's show "Pipi y los piratas", by the group Pepa and Los Bichejos.
