Will take place the adequacy of 1.8 kilometers of the RM-F35, which runs between Cartagena and San Javier
The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, has put out for tender, for a total of 2,674,839 euros, of the highway RM-F35.
This road runs between the towns of Cartagena and San Javier and will provide greater fluency improved access to industrial estate Cabezo Beaza in Cartagena.
According to the Director General of Highways, Jose Guijarro, this action is intended "to increase road safety and reduce accidents in an area with a high intensity of heavy traffic and it records more than two million trips a year."
The works will take place on the stretch of road that runs along the industrial estate, along 1.8 miles.
It will carry out the construction of three roundabouts, 50, 60, and 65 feet outside diameter, to replace intersections in a "T" on two hits in the Industrial Park Cabezo Beaza and another at the intersection with the municipal road La Asomada.
Also proceed with the construction of two service roads, sidewalks and bike lanes from Torreciega to the first entry of the Industrial as well as for installation of lighting, runway lighting and signage.
"The layout of this section in MR-F35 will contribute to a more comfortable and flexible movement in one of the most important industrial areas for the growth of Cartagena and the region," concluded Guijarro.
