As reported by the Human Resources Department, 5.5 percent of public employees of the City Council have supported the strike called officials at the national level by the main trade unions to protest the wage cut ordered by the Government.

In particular the 1,028 employees of the municipal staff with capacity to exercise this right, among which excludes the local police and the personnel assigned to the minimum services, only 51 have supported the strike.

Normality has been the dominant trend in various workplaces and municipal services, in which there has been no incident to highlight, as it clarified the Human Resources Department.
