ELIO program, new initiative of Greater Guidance from the Agency of Local Development and Employment, launched last week with the aim of creating a free computer for guidance and job search.
This project, already announced in May, Councillor for Employment and Youth, Ruth Collins, comes to fill a need identified in the development of other previous performances and is none other than the difficulty many people to access the Internet, a tool currently almost indispensable to the job search.
From the ADLE, ELIO the program is provided to a suitable space, equipped with 15 computers with Internet access, with a list of employment websites, with publications in Guidance for the search for employment and daily local newspaper.
A space-enabled information panels in employment, where citizens receive personalized advice from a counselor of the ADLE, and receive information for possible inclusion into the employability pathways.
ELIO program is aimed at all unemployed who need access to the Internet for Job Search activities.
The office will be available to users every Thursday from 9.00 to 12.00 hours in the 3 rd floor of the Agency of Local Development and Employment, Charity Street No 1.
