Cartagena Port of Cultures "organized for this weekend, 5 and 6 June, a few open houses to present the works already completed the excavation and recovery of the medieval period rooms that have been found in adarve del Castillo de la Concepción, after a year and a half working.
Visitors can see these new rooms, free of charge, at the same time the Centre of Interpretation of the History of Cartagena, from 10.00 to 14.30 and from 16.00 to 19.30 hours.
Access will be controlled, with guided tours every half hour for groups of up to 25 people.
To visit the rest of the castle or access to the panoramic lift, prices will be the usual.
The purpose of this initiative is to show, before musealization, jobs that have been carried out in the Castle of La Concepcion and completing a piece of history of the city still lacked the Cartagena Medieval, and will become part of that Centre.
