The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, announced that within a month the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Region awarded the drafting of the new School of Nursing.
The announcement was made at a ceremony Honor Scholarship to the mayor by the board of this school.
The mayor expressed his hope that soon the teachers and students have more modern facilities and adequate quality of service and education they receive.
Barreiro has highlighted the partnership that the city of Cartagena has been paid to the regional administration for the creation of this new School of Nursing, which will be built next to the new general hospital in Santa Lucia, on land donated by the city of Cartagena, generating around him a large area of health facilities.
In such an environment is also where the City has given other land to build the Reference Center Parkinson whose implementation is however at the expense of the central government.
