The presence of the City on Facebook, which started in early January, has experienced continuous growth, already surpassing the 5,000 fans, which puts the Cartagena as one of the municipalities with a greater presence on the network.
Through Facebook now reports municipal, cultural activities, sports and music taking place in the city as well as information and content of municipal portals.
The main objective is to maintain communication with the citizen in a digital environment and enable their participation both in the social web.
The demographic data indicate that the number of women using this route is slightly higher than men (55 percent vs. 45 percent), with an average age between 25 and 44.
Outside the province, there are a large number of followers in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, and abroad, from countries like Colombia (271), United States (134) and Italy (107).
Other municipal services and activities such as Cartagena Tourism, La Mar de Músicas or Much More in May have their fans on Facebook, with more personalized information for its activities and projects.
