On the occasion of the XIV Book Week, Gabriela Mistral school has gone back in time to dress Age MediaPad common rooms and walls decorated with medieval center.
At the Open Day, held the center, attended the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, together parents, teachers and friends of the students.
All were decorated spaces of school for several months, with medieval decorations on windows, ancient copies in the library, hanging lamps, torches, among other details.
Before you start decorating with this initiative based in the Middle Ages, the students of Gabriela Mistral had a series of activities to develop their knowledge, go back in time and learn the crafts of the time.
Therefore, the students visited a traditional fair and an exhibition of books from various publishers.
In addition, prepared plays, dances, reading sessions, a medieval horse tournament.
Those responsible for organizing this series of activities and provide the center with a medieval appearance were a group of mothers of school children and teachers and students.
