The Department of Parks and Gardens of the City of Cartagena reported cutting of 13 trees of the species Brachychyton, located on the sidewalks of the street Carlos III, facing the Instituto Carlos III and the monument of Carlos III.
As noted by the same sources, these specimens were causing problems in the supply network, as in recent months had led to five faults.
Given the proximity of the facilities and the narrowness of the sidewalks, the trees will not be replenished, proceeding to the final paving of the basins.
