The Delegation of Students of the School of Telecommunications Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, organized from 14 to 16 May 2010 its traditional LAN Party in the Reading Room of the Library of Campus Muralla del Mar, in the deAntiguones Old Barracks building.
The event offers free Internet and local network for all participants.
It will also include various activities, such as a PC assembly shop, a rock concert, a night astronomical observation by the Astronomical Association of Cartagena, video game championships organized in collaboration with the Avalon The cache, one Championship Magic Cards and Poker Tournament.
The LAN Party will open on Friday 14 at 20:00 pm in the Student House, with the presence of the Vice Chancellor for Students, Francisco Martinez and Assistant Director of Institutional Relations and Culture ETSIT, José María Molina, along with Delegate Alumni ETSIT Francisco Benavente and Subdelegate Organization, José Manuel Teira.
Since then and throughout the weekend, the Teleco CT LAN Party will remain open permanently, until its closure on Sunday 16 at 19:00.
So far, we have registered more than a hundred people.
As a novelty, students permitted to attend any college or vocational training center over 16 years, and students themselves UPCT.
