The City of Cartagena has delivered 39 bicycles tricycle yun Polaris World Foundation for Cooperation and Development Aid.
The event was this morning at the Education Park Road Angel Bruna street, in the presence of Public Safety councilor, Javier Herrero Padrón, and the patron of the foundation, Patricio Cócebres.
Cócebres thanked the City Council to divest these bikes, which itself is in very good condition, but also in Mali will count as a bike.
The employer explained that these vehicles send them Tabitongo, a town in northern Mali, where there is a school of help for years.
The purpose of this release is for children to attend school, as are 15 miles of the school, as are slow walk back and go home.
The councilman added that the vehicles have been delivered so far used by students of various colleges of the City for classes taught at the Education Park Road.
He has also explained that these were the first bikes that were purchased, while some of them in a state not suitable for this role, but nevertheless, by the Department of Public Safety as being likely to continue to play an important role in the place to which they are intended, in Mali, where they can give very useful for moving the kids in this area to go to school every day, and thus assist the great work, both as Polaris World Foundation the Salesians developed in the area.
