The closure of the XIII edition of the competition of young talents between strings and brass, was held last night at the Auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, where he announced the decision of the juries of the different modalities and the winners could get in trouble award.

The opening ceremony began with the interpretation of the solo saxophone, Alejandro Zamora Gumbao, along with the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena, and then gave way to the awards ceremony, concluding the ceremony with a performance by the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music Cartagena.

The main goal that has defined this event, organized by the Youth Council and the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, has been training young musicians not only through its participation in the competition but also giving the winner the opportunity to perform a concert with a professional orchestra, which contributes in a very important to their training as musicians.
