Civil Guard officers serving public safety prevention have proceeded to the arrest of two persons suspected of a crime of armed robbery, to be surprised while traveling in a boat vehicle that moments before had been stolen in a residential community located in Mar de Cristal - Cartagena.
Civil Guard began a series of investigations to surprise two persons riding with his own car which had been towing a trailer with a boat recreation.
Given the reasonable suspicion, the agents quickly began a series of investigations in order to verify the legitimate origin of the resulting boat and, thanks to the cooperation of citizens, which had been stolen from the garage of a residential community located in Mar de Cristal - Cartagena, ignoring the victim of theft the absence of their property.
Modus operandi
The suspects entered the interior of the urbanization drive adapted to drive a vehicle with trailer.
Then, using the force broke the safety devices installed in the trailer carrying the boat to finally hook the vehicle and take flight-of-factly.
Detained
In this speech, the Civil Guard carried out the arrest of two persons suspected of a crime of burglary in things, identified as:
- JJR, Spanish, 48, resident of Cartagena.
- CES, Spanish, 29 and a resident of Cartagena.
The effects stolen and later recovered, valued at 40,000 euros, after being brought to justice have been returned to its rightful owner.
The police had instructed and detainees has been made available to the Court of Instruction Number Three in Cartagena (Murcia).
