The assessment of the impact reaches 240,000 euros stolen

The Civil Guard has developed over the last month an investigation that has culminated in the dismantling of a criminal gang engaged in theft of vegetables and their subsequent distribution to traders for the sale of these products.

It has arrested four members of this group organized, one of them related to the company victim of theft, reaching the value of the goods stolen 240,000 euros.

Also committed thefts on farms.

This action is framed in the "Crime Prevention Plan in the Campo de Cartagena", the Guardia Civil de Murcia has enabled to detect and eradicate any related criminal activity against property in this region.

The Civil Guard was aware of the commission of various crimes of theft in a company dedicated to storage, processing and distribution of perishable foods, beginning an investigational device in order to gather clues about these events.

In the first investigations, the officers gained valuable information about the identity of persons involved in these thefts, their ways and means of transport.

Modus operandi

This criminal group composed of four people committed theft in the vegetable distribution company insider as telling one of them was a worker of the same.

Used vans to steal, carry and transfer the vegetables, then distributed to retailers located in Cartagena, Torre Pacheco for sale to consumers.

Detainee:

This research has arrested four members of this band have allegedly organized CONTINUED CRIME OF THEFT, identified as:

- MASP, Spanish, 36, resident of Cartagena.

- JBMS, Spanish, 25 and a resident of Cartagena.

- SSB, Spanish, 34, resident of Torre Pacheco.

- JMM, Spanish, 50 years and resident of Cartagena.

Proceedings initiated detainees and have been made available to the Magistrate's Court in Cartagena (Murcia), which has exercised judicial management of the operation.
