Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, was charged yesterday inaugurated the exhibition Homage to Thomas Bernal, which includes works by the painter, six watercolors in total, which was a draftsman of the City Council until he died last year, along with other paintings , photographs and models made by officials of the City of Cartagena, on the occasion of the celebration of its patron saint, Santa Rita.
The exhibition will be exhibited at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy until May 21, contains some forty works of twelve participants.
For paintings have been used various techniques of oil painting, watercolor and acrylic and are free theme.
During the opening statements were read in memory of Thomas Bernal by their peers and offered attendees a wine to welcome the artists participating in this cultural event.
This exhibition begins with the many cultural and sporting activities which officials celebrate their patron saint and which will culminate on May 21 with a dinner dance in The Lady.
