On Monday, May 3, the councilors of Youth, Ruth Maria Collado, and Education, Pepa Maroto, Cultural Week opened Admiral Bastarreche IES, which this year is part of the title The dream ride.
Cultural Week, which runs from 3 to 14 May, includes three exhibitions:
- Natures opposite, consisting of photos of the Black Forest of Germany and Shahdad Desert, Iran.
- Photographs of Bergen, Norway, from the exchange of students of this center that recently made.
- Fossils and minerals.
Around three exhibitions will be activities organized by various departments of the center that has among its objectives: raising awareness among students of the facilities currently offered from the educational and youth to travel and thus enrich curricular and personal , taking values such as tolerance, learning other languages, valuing differences, living with other cultures and improvement.
The event also involved teachers and Alfonso Álvarez César Romero, author of the photographs of the exposiciónNaturalezas Opposite, who explained to the students and the public there present the motivations and lessons learned in his travels.
One of the teachers responsible for student exchanges to Bergen, Yolanda Noguera, recounted his experience as Antonio Arroyo, director and author of the photographs from this trip.
