The City bid for the forthcoming academic year 2010-2011, 776 seats, of which 280 are for students who have renewed their registration, so there are only 496 vacancies.
The Department of Education has received 830 applications for these 496 seats, so that almost half of applications will not attend
Cartagena UPyD considers that it should increase the supply of seats by extension of existing nursery schools or building new schools, provided under a public management model.
In Cartagena UPyD defend quality public school as a tool for equal rights and a sufficient supply of places.
