The Rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Félix Faura Mateu, the Regional Director Cajamar Caja Rural, Bartholomew Widowhood and the Director General of the Foundation Cajamar, Carmen María Giménez Rodríguez, today signed the agreement Monday, the renewal of the "Chair Cajamar of Cooperative Agro Technical University of Cartagena ", designed to promote entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial spirit in the cooperative field.
This agreement in turn is integrated into the collaboration agreement to develop joint activities that the University and the bank have signed for the development of joint actions in the fields of training, scientific, technological and cultural.
The aim of this chair of agricultural cooperatives, which brings Caja Rural Cajamar 30,000 euros per year, translates into the promotion of specific activities aimed primarily at training and research, the generation and dissemination of knowledge related to cooperatives and social economy .
His performance is specified in an annual program that provides for the organization and conduct of training activities such as seminars, workshops, conferences or lectures related mainly to agricultural cooperatives, the development of research programs related to agricultural cooperatives, publishing monographs on the topics under consideration by the Chair, as well as cultural activities and dissemination of teaching and research.
