Two Public Works Engineers UPCT obtained by the first and third National Award for Excellence in the University academic performance granted by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Graduates of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena Ginés Roca Lozano, Cartagena, and Juan Antonio Vicente Alfonso, de Murcia, have won first and third prizes, respectively, in the call for awards for excellence in academic performance in college Certification of Public Works Engineering.
Each year, the Ministry of Education honors the top three students in each of Spain's university degrees.
And this time two of the three winners in the degree of Technical Engineering of Public Works have been students of the School of Civil Engineering UPCT.
Both have been colleagues and friends from the first year of their degree.
"The perseverance and self confidence in addition to the unconditional support of the family" have been key to achieving brilliant academic record that now distinguishes Ginés Lozano as the best student in Spain.
