Cayo Lara is committed to defending the Rosell and take the issue to the Congress of Deputies (22/05/2015)

Winning the firm commitment of Cartagena, the coalition United Left-Greens and Socialists for Cartagena, the advocacy as maintenance Rosell as a second hospital of Health Area II will again reach the Congress of Deputies first hand of said formations.

That is the commitment it made yesterday Cayo Lara, general coordinator of IU, in his meeting with representatives of the Platform Save the Rosell after the event in which he participated with other candidates of the coalition.

Cayo Lara picked up the proposal of the members of the platform to present in the Congress of Deputies a question concerning the ownership and use of land on which hospital facilities stand.

This is because such land is not owned by the INSS and the Autonomous Community as disposal or sale is not possible to carry out by the regional administration.

Also remember that in land-use planning Cartagena grounds are collected as solely socio-sanitary so could not be used for other purposes except adjustment to that plan.

Possibility to Cartagena to Win strongly oppose all institutions.

Since Earn Cartagena reiterates that it is not normal that a facility such as the Rosell remain unused when there is a deficit of hospital beds in the region of Cartagena, as evidenced by the fact the beds in the corridors of the Hospital Santa Lucia.

This situation has led to José Luis Romero, candidate for mayor, ironically wondering "what is the outbreak of this May requiring keep beds in the corridors or is that all these patients are also Pilar?".
