Social Care Councilman, Antonio Calderon, and the Councillor for Women, Clara Hall, attended yesterday afternoon at the opening of the exhibition that includes works of twenty artists Cartagena in Cartagena Casino.
The event was also attended soup kitchen's director, Juan Jose Sanchez, and the instructor of the paint shops of IMAS Center III, Oliver Concha.
Proceeds from this show will go to the soup kitchen Good Samaritan, which has the support of the Municipal Institute of Social Services City of Cartagena.
During the presentation, Calderon appealed to the solidarity of the people of Cartagena and the need to join forces in times of crisis.
He thanked the participants who have taken out of the trunk of their work skills, which have been captured in these paintings that now the public can visit.
Meanwhile, the woman councilor recalled the relationship that binds this Department with social somedor since in January, along with the Federation of Associations of Women of Cartagena, social center delivered around 500 kilos of nonperishable food.
This joint initiative will be open until Sunday, April 7.
The soup kitchen is open daily from Cartagena to about 450 people, including eating on site and that use the takeaway service.
The artists participating in this show of solidarity are: Rufi Henares, Mariano Soto, Francisco Torres, José Betanzos, Juanita Navarro, Maria Lorca, bale Calvo, Trinidad Guerrero, Julian Ortuño, Domingo Perez, Ginés Molero, Josefa Perez Solano Juani, Lolita Martinez, Charity of Zoro, María Angeles Nares, Rosario Marin, Carmen Capel, Oliver Shell, Fina Navarro, Juanita Nicholas, Loren Alfonso and Carmen Cervantes.
