The Cabo de Pop Festival celebrates its first edition, in which it will fill activities and music Cabo de Palos and La Manga on August 14.
An event, organized by the company "PlanOut" and the council of Youth of the City.
An event that serves to further energize the activity of the coast of Cartagena, as noted by the councilman of Youth, Ricardo Segado, at the press conference to present this event, which also involved the promoter of the festival, Sergio González , The president of the Cabo de Palos Neighborhood Association, Cristina Aguado, and the vice president of the Cabo de Palos Yacht Club, Emilio Gil.
This festival joins the activity "already frenetic" that the city council organizes in the area of ​​Cabo de Palos, pointed Segado regarding the event, which seeks to take advantage of all the leisure and sports offer that already offers the locality.
González, for his part, has indicated that he expects people to really enjoy and that will lead to the confidence of both the city council and other sponsors so that Cape de Pop can be perpetuated in the region's summer festival calendar.
The specific points in which the activities will take place will be Cala Fria, Paseo de Levante, Playa Paraiso and esplanade of the Port of Cabo de Palos, between 11:00 am and 3:00 am the next day.
Those who live in the area and anyone who wants to get closer to enjoying the festival that day, can participate in activities such as: Climbing Wall with Tirolina and Slack Line, for € 1 on the esplanade of the Port of Cabo de Palos;
Diving baptisms, for 10 € in Cala Fría from 11 in the morning;
Kayak tours at a price of € 3 around the Cabo de Palos lighthouse from the Dakar Sailing School between 11:00 and 19:00 hours, snorkeling in the area's marine environments at € 5, organized by the Diving Club Hormigas Islands, and guided tours around the Lighthouse of Cabo de Palos and the Center for Marine Interpretation at a price of € 2.

Although the highlight of the festival will be the free concerts to be held in the Esplanade of the Port from 19:00 hours, where you can listen to Ploop;
Pastore, part of the group Jeff Mental that will put music in brief dates to a Martini announcement;
The cartagenero group Ayoho and the electronic music of Acid + Matu.
Around the stage area there will be also entertainment activities and foodtrucks and drink.
