The Governing Council of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia has approved a grant of 70,000 euros for the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and a total of 190,000 euros for public universities in the region, built in the Campus of International Excellence 'Mare Nostrum 37 / 38 'for projects promoting bilingual teaching, entrepreneurship and networking.
Thanks to previous assistance to bilingual teaching, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) teaches courses in English at the Faculty of Business, School of Telecommunications, School of Architecture and Building, the School of Agriculture, School roads and Mines and the School of Industrial.
In the past two years, 48 ​​teachers have accredited UPCT levels B1, B2 and C1 English received after the preparation of Language Services of the Polytechnic.
The purpose of the Community aid is to assist adaptation to European Higher Education Area and the transfer of knowledge to the business and territorial environment, and promoting entrepreneurship, bilingual teaching and agreements, such as those already UPCT , double degree with other universities.
